it never lets me play

awesome game!

Do you make money with this game ?

This was so good! The concept is fantastic, and throwing the tactical and strategy angles into a top down shooter is a touch of genius. I'll definitely be coming back for more of this =)

Keep up the amazing work guys!

Amazing game! It feels like the great old SWAT games. The controls and AI behaviour work just great. My only complain is that, when your partner has no grenades and you order him to throw one, he just open the door, giving rise to a stupid death. He should warns you that he has no more available. Wonderful work, I love it and I hope the kickstarter succed!

Sometimes, the door of the bar does not open. Overall, it's pretty good and well done!

use C4 or melee

ok ty :)

I love this game! It's a fantastic balance between Hotline Miami and SWAT! I did find a random teleportation glitch! I hope someone can help explain how it happened haha! Overall a great experience :) (Apologise for awful thumbnail haha)

i freaking love it

it's very nice game between infiltration, rescuing hostages and more. Merci pour ce jeu ! ;)

It's a cool game but it has some flaws , I know it's just alpha .

I love the demo! It feels like Hotline Miami but with a tactical twist.
I'm keeping my fingers cross this gets funded on kickstarter. If you
haven't checked out the demo do yourself a favor and download it! Here's
a quick no commentary let's play I made for the first level available
in the demo.

Police Stories is amazing. I showed it off in a livestream and people were very impressed (starts 12:34)

This game is really cool and very well made. Can't whait for more levels.  Also pls remove the need of points to unlock new levels. Its a bit annoing. And for people who want to try it, its not very easy(or I just suck).

i'm sorry you just suck it wasn't very hard at all

Game it cool

It definitely needs custom control settings. the control scheme in the alpha version is posion for a left-handed player. ;-)

Police Stories -- Great idea for a "top-down" style video game, and seemingly entertaining enough for a recommendation. I would love to try it out. Only one minor set back....    : (    The game wasn't written for Apple;  (MAC) config. Would really like to see if this is in the making, for the future???

It was so Frustrating  but fun and addicting at the same time

Awesome game, I like it how you have to be careful in every room you enter. Really cool.

good game just carnt play my security goes crazy plz fix

Pleas add more things into this game like radio command codes

I love this game, plus the changing enemy and civilian spawns adds a nice amount of replay ability.

This is cool. It's like a 2d version of Swat

Sometimes, I can't open the door. The second door in the first level

You can open it by punching 3-5 times

For locked doors you will need to melee it 4 times to break it down, or tell your partner to breach using a C4 charge. Hold left click over a door to give a specific command.

Get down on the ground!

Kinda meh, I'm not too big on "point games" also, a tutorial would be nice.

This is NOT REALISTIC at all.. you're not supposed to handcuff civillians you're supposed to escort them out... also, your not supposed to fire a warning shot your supposed to just say "Hands in the air, Drop it" , the bombs are for the bomb squad!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and only swat has flashbangs.... I know this becuase my Grandpa was a Police And Swat

Mario is not realistic too.

Dude it's just a game and I dont recall it ever saying the game is supposed to be a realistic adaptation of life in the force, just chill.

you have problems. Its a 1D game what were you expecting?!?! and for a 1D game thats really one of the best, it have many commants and wit the update it will have so many levels! SO STFU AND GET A LIFE

This game's awesome!

Mac?

Awesome game! love the action and the sound/door alert system. It could be a bit easier to control your parntner and chose what he does but outside of that a great game!

Gave it a go...

На мой взгляд один из лучших симуляторов полицейского.

10 из 10 не подстреленных копов.

LOVED IT! 10/10

I grew up with similar top down shooters and this really brought the nostalgia! The gameplay mechanics are smooth and create a realistic atmosphere for me as a player. Quick, un-rational actions are dealt with harshly and can easily get one killed by rushing in or not checking corners. Personally my favorite aspect was the randomly generated sprites forcing the player to continually be alert and cautious at all times. I'm really looking forward to the next update/more levels!

Great art and sound, great game, really hard.  I like that the first area lets you get used to the controls before going in the house.

I noticed a bug that reloading sometimes wraps around to 0 bullets on semi if you spam the shoot and reload buttons.

My first thought was that I'd like to be able to jump between the two team members during play, I hope that becomes an option later on.

I  tried shouting and firing a warning shot many times to get a suspect to not shoot, but got shot every time, brutal. Am I doing it right? Does the warning shot have to be at a specific range or direction? Or, are the first few suspects just that unavoidably aggressive? The only thing that worked consistently on suspects was luring them to a door (or flash-banging the room),  punching them, then shouting and arresting. Although, sometimes I found myself standing more-or-less in front of a suspect (with the tip of my gun millimeters away from their sprite)  punching the air wildly only to get shot. What I mean is the punch-range seems a bit short (or I just need to git gud).

I like how you can avoid flash-banging yourself by looking away from the grenade. That's  one of the many intuitive things about the game's control scheme.

Only seeing as far as the flashlight cone is tense, and the last-known-position of a spotted suspect is interesting, but was a little useless given how quickly the suspects notice and run at you.

The one hit death adds a nice level of tension as well. Its horrifying to watch my partner die as I arrest a suspect. I appreciate the instant-reset with 'R' when you die it makes trying again less frustrating and more addictive.  Excellent camera control, its a relief to be able to pan around the area a bit and the control of that is very intuitive.

The team's default careful movement speed feels right given the setting, and it impresses upon me that the goal isn't run and gun like Hotline Miami, but rather to leave suspects alive for a badass arrest.

Police Stories adds a refreshing couple of twists to the genre, well done! I can't wait to see how the game develops, keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! We are really glad everytime people enjoy playing Police Stories!

Warning shots work only for perps who are "uncertain" and just looking on you.

Ah, I figured there should be some perp-telegraphed indicator that a warning shot would work. That makes sense. Looks like there's a bit more police-murder in Police Stories than I originally though. I wanted to arrest everyone! Everyone Lives!

If you hit them with 'F' they sometimes (maybe always?) give up. So you can hide behind a corner, wait, hit and arrest! There's a problem when they have hostages though... and it's not the most easy thing to do in the world, if you want to arrest every criminal... Good luck!

Challenge accepted!
